About Us
Built Different.
Built for the Mountains.
At High Timber Deck, we don't just build decks — we build outdoor living spaces engineered for Colorado's mountain environment. From steep grades and rocky terrain to heavy snow loads and intense UV, we understand the challenges that come with building at elevation, and we know how to solve them.
Our founder, Randy Romanin, is a Colorado native who's spent over two decades perfecting the craft of mountain deck building. Randy's a straight shooter — what you see is what you get. He'll give you an honest assessment, a fair price, and meticulous craftsmanship that speaks for itself. Every board is placed with intention, every connection is structural-grade, and every project is finished to a standard he'd put on his own home.
We specialize in premium composite decking because we believe our clients deserve a deck that looks stunning year after year without the constant maintenance traditional wood demands at altitude. From Trex to TimberTech and beyond, we work with the industry's best materials to deliver results that last.

Randy and his crew removed a sun room and replaced my wrap around deck. The design change was amazing and his workmanship ethics are superb. He also replaced another long deck that looks terrific. I would highly recommend him for his ideas, his work perfection, and his honesty.
